Show Synopsis:

The first act is a musical spoof on early live Television's "Your Hit Parade".  With its weekly reenactments of the "top-ten" songs in the nation, (including such unforgettables as "Mr. Sandman", "The Wayward Wind", "Love Letters In The Sand" and "How Much Is That Doggie In The window"), asking the audience to become a part of the show by responding to cue cards, "applause" and "silence" signs, with continuous admonition of the hard working Stage Manager and many more typical involvements of an actual early television live audience.  The show is wonderfully complete with dancing cigarette box commercials, backstage rivalries and side splitting on-stage shenanigans.  The cast will sing and dance its way through the pastel period of American television.

The second act recreates a sock hop at the John Foster Dulles High School Gymnasium with Disc Jockey Teddy "The Big T" Thomas, as he broadcasts live on the WOWW radio station with 1950's lingo flying all over the airwaves.  Teddy T tells his listening audience of the "Great Stars", his personal friends coming to visit the dance at the gym that night: The Five Satins, The Everly Brothers, The Kingston Trio, Johnny Ray, and of course...Marilyn Monroe, and the "King", Elvis Presley.
