Show Synopsis:
"Amazing Gospel" is a seamless blend of music, lyrics, visual imagery, dance and drama that bring, to dramatic life, one of the most powerful stories in history. A "fresh way" of dramatizing the story of Jesus as told in the New Testament's four books of the Gospel. This completely original cabaret musical production takes a number of old gospel hymns, such as "Amazing Grace" and "His Eye Is On The Sparrow", and weaves them into a story of Christ, His disciples and followers, His great preaching's, His eventual betrayal, crucifixion, and His resurrection. "Amazing Gospel" emphasizes the beauty of the language of the King James version of the Bible.
This show also includes two original musical numbers; with Lyrics by Claude McNeal, Music by Mike Murray and John Austin Butch.
